Balmoral Elementary was bursting with love during Valentine’s Spirit Week! 💘
From pink and red on Sweetheart Style Monday to silly socks, matching with friends, sweet treats, and Cupid-inspired outfits — our students showed up with so much creativity and heart!
Thank you to our Balmoral families for helping make the week extra special. We loved seeing all the smiles, kindness, and school spirit!
Mrs. Hathaway’s class had a blast celebrating Valentine’s Day! ❤️ Students shared thoughtful, personal messages with one another and satisfied their sweet tooth with some fun treats. It was a day filled with kindness and laughter!
The third graders from Mrs. French’s class had the sweetest time teaming up with their kindergarten buddies from Mrs. Richardson’s class to make Valentines! ❤️
Together, they practiced important skills like sharing materials, coloring carefully, writing kind messages, and cutting with care. It was wonderful to see our older students helping, encouraging, and showing patience while building friendships across grade levels.
So proud of the teamwork, creativity, and kindness on display!
Dr. Cannon, Mrs. Brown, and Mrs. Van Wyhe’s first grade classes celebrated 101 days of school in style! Students dressed as Dalmatians while teachers joined the fun as Cruella, kicking off a day full of excitement and learning.
Students celebrated being 101 days smarter by engaging in hands-on math, making predictions, and counting. They flipped pennies, counted drops of water, and worked together to create trail mix with exactly 101 pieces. The day wrapped up with a special viewing of 101 Dalmatians—a fun and memorable way to celebrate 101 days of learning!
Students in Mrs. Klyczek’s class kicked off Black History Month by reading a biography about Jackie Robinson. As they learned about his impact and legacy, students also practiced an important reading skill—identifying facts versus opinions. A meaningful way to learn history and strengthen comprehension!
