As we look back on some of our favorite moments from the school year, we're smiling about this special buddy activity between Mrs. Ayres' third-grade class and Mrs. Crayton's kindergarten class.
Part of kindergarten guided play includes learning through board games. Mrs. Ayres' students taught their kindergarten buddies how to play, then spent time playing together as students practiced turn-taking, problem-solving, and teamwork while building friendships across grade levels.
Room 10 celebrated their teamwork and positive behavior with a delicious ice cream sundae party! Students worked together to fill the classroom marble jar and earn a whole-class reward. They also had the opportunity to earn up to five toppings by making positive choices each day throughout the week. Congratulations to Room 10 for their hard work, teamwork, and positive behavior!
Field Day at Balmoral was full of smiles, laughter, and nonstop fun! Students enjoyed a variety of games and activities while making memories with friends and classmates. A huge thank you to our amazing PTO and all of the parent volunteers who helped make the day such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Mrs. Anderson’s second graders loved observing the life cycle of their Painted Lady butterflies! Students watched in amazement as four tiny caterpillars transformed into chrysalises and then beautiful butterflies right before their eyes.
The class named their butterflies Zesty, Unicorn Butterfly, Elizabeth, and Mimi! Before releasing them, each student had the chance to gently hold one of the butterflies. Such a sweet and memorable hands-on science experience for our young Bulldogs!
Balmoral’s Talent Show was a huge success!
Sponsored by Student Council, our Bulldogs amazed the audience with incredible dancing, piano performances, gymnastics, drumming, and singing! We are so proud of the confidence, creativity, and hard work our students showed on stage.
